The women's ministry of Fayette Baptist Church seeks to strengthen women in their faith in Jesus Christ through Bible Study, prayer, retreats, and fellowship events.Â
There are three women's Bible studies-- Women of Wisdom, meeting on Wednesday mornings at the church from 9:00 - 11:00, an evening group that meets in Winthrop on Thursday nights, and a mother's group that meets in the nursery following the Sunday morning service every other week. If you would like more information on any of these groups, please give us a call. For Women of Wisdom-- Vicki House, for Thursday nights-- Carolyn Trevino, and for Sunday afternoon-- Summer Soucy. Please find their contact info in the contacts section or call the church office. There is a special prayer request box for women. It is located on the information desk near the tape ministry counter. Any request placed in the box can be annoymous or can be a request for contact. There is a team of women who will lift up your need and keep everything confidential. We look forward to praying for you! Each year, we host a winter retreat locally for women in our church, as well as coordinate a group to travel down to the Women of Faith events held in New England.  We also frequently host fellowship events. Past events have been a ladies tea, a fall mountain hike, a coffee night and a craft making event. Information about retreats and events will be posted in the bulletin and on the website so check back for updates periodically. Contact the Women Ministry Leader to learn more about how you can help with this ministry. Contact information is provided in the Contacts section of our website. (Remember to log-in for contacts). Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.         Titus 2:2-5
